  • Linear – Refers to a text that reads like a book, in a straight line read from beginning to end.
  • Expert systems – A piece of software that uses expert knowledge within databases in order to make highly skilled decisions.
  • Usability – A term that describes the how easy an interface is to use, and can also refer to methods of increasing the ease of a process.
  • Hypertext – A software system that links words on the screen to related information or graphics via a point and click method.
  • Visual-spatial – The ability to manipulate multidimensional figures and the relationship between objects.
